There's trouble in the Sleep Tite Pajama Factory. The workers' demand for a 7 and a half cents rise has been refused by Mr Hasker, their skinflint boss. Prez, the union organiser and factory romeo, has come up with some way of making the boss pay up. Will he be able to get his mind off the ladies for long enough? Sid Sorokin, the new supervisor, has problems. He's fallen for the head of the union grievance commitee, Babe Williams. Will his romance survive the industrial dispute? Sid also has his suspicions about Hasler's accounts but Hasler's secretary, Gladys, keeps the key to the accounts file on her person. Her boyfriend, Hines, is a former professional knife-thrower and jealously watches her every move. Will Sid get the key or a knife in his back?
