Dorothy Gale, a young Kansas girl, and her beloved dog, Toto, are swept up rather suddenly by a huge twister and transported into the magical land of Oz. Intent on returning home, Dorothy follows the advice of Glinda and the Munchkins and sets of along the Yellow Brick Road towards the Emerald City, where she hopes the Wizard of Oz can help her get back home to Kansas. En route, Dorothy befriends the Scarecrow, Tinman and Lion, and they all band together in the hope that the Wizard can help each of them to fulfil their dream. However, there is a long and troubled journey ahead as the Wicked Witch, set on reaping revenge for the death of her sister, will do everything in her power to stop them in their tracks...
